My View: The plug could soon be plugged on televised events close to home

Your local cable community television channels are in jeopardy. There's a bill before Congress, H.R. 5252, that, while it purports to provide video competition short circuits many local regulatory activities of cities, including funding and the provision of public, education and government (PEG) access or community TV.
