National Associations Fight to Add Local Voice to the Telecom Debate

A group of national associations representing local governments have banded together to make sure that community interests are protected

National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA)

The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) is a national association that represents the communications needs and interests of local governments, and those who advise local governments.

National Association of Counties (NACo)

NACo is a full-service organization that acts as a liaison with other levels of government, works to improve public understanding of counties, serves as a national advocate for counties and provides them with resources to help them find innovative methods to meet the challenges they face.


National League of Cities (NLC)

The NLC is the oldest and largest national organization representing municipal governments throughout the United States. Its mission is to strengthen and promote cities as centers of opportunity, leadership, and governance.


Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA)

GFOA is the professional association of state/provincial and local finance officers in the United States and Canada, and has served the public finance profession since 1906. More than 16,500 GFOA members are dedicated to the sound management of government financial resources.
